North Balwyn Seniors Centre (The Marwal Centre) has a range of services available to the community, in addition to being the “home” of the North Balwyn Senior Citizens’ Club.

Lunch

A healthy varied 3 course meal is served at midday every Thursday (except Public Holidays). Bookings can be made by phoning 03 9880 4709.

Hairdresser

A hairdresser is available fortnightly Fridays. Our hairdressers are qualified and able to provide a full range of services. Appointments are required.

A podiatrist is available every other Friday and provides for the care and management of your foot health. Appointments are necessary.

Hire of the Centre

The North Balwyn Seniors Centre (The Marwal Centre) is located at 9 Marwal Avenue Nth Balwyn and is available to hire for activities suitable for a residential area. Contact the Centre Manager on 03 9880 4751 for details and availability.

North Balwyn Senior Citizens’ Club activities

The Senior Citizens’ Club at the North Balwyn Seniors Centre (The Marwal Centre) provides wonderful companionship & activities. Membership is open to all senior citizens and is subject to a small annual membership fee. An active committee elected by the members arranges a variety of activities.

The Senior Citizens Club meet every Monday with entertainment and all members of the Club are welcome.
