On Wednesdays each month a fun Theme Lunch is held. These are special days where everyone is invited to share a glass of wine and a playful quiz and good company.

We have a range of exercise classes to suit your needs and activity levels from novice gentle chair-based exercises, to energetic
strength and balance classes.
BASScare offers one-to-one Exercise Physiology (EP) sessions. Our Exercise Physiologist will work with you to assess your health and exercise goals to create a tailored exercise program specific to you.
BASScare’s Falls Prevention program is an exercise and educational program aimed to reducing your risk of a fall. The program includes a pre-course assessment, 14 weekly classes and a post assessment, all conducted by a qualified Exercise Physiologist.

A range of day trips to interesting locations around Melbourne collect those who live independently at home on Tuesdays and Fridays, and if you are a bloke, on Mondays! We accommodate various degrees of mobility, and you are welcome to bring a relative or carer if you wish.
The Men’s group provides the opportunity for men to get together and enjoy each others company through social outings. Some of the places we have visited include Kyneton RSL, Badger Creek, Mornington Hotel and Launching Place Hotel, Yarra Valley. Let us know if you’d like to join this friendly mob.
Transport on the BASScare bus Transport to and from BASScare centre-based activities and lunch (subject to availability) is $10 per return trip. Please phone 9880 4709 to check. BASScare bus pick up areas include Kew, North Balwyn, Balwyn, Canterbury, Surrey Hills, Camberwell and Hawthorn. Our exercise class pick up covers a smaller geographical area. We collect from Camberwell, Canterbury, Surrey Hills, Balwyn, North Balwyn and Kew. Booking two days prior is essential.
