BASScare runs an extensive list of programs each weekday with you in mind. We’re dedicated to keeping you active as well as keeping your mind young. Here you will find all the information you need on technology groups, trivia days and special talks.

Technology

Staying connected in a forever changing world can be difficult. We are teaching those 65+ everything tech from how to turn on your iPhone to how internet banking works. Sit down in a one on one with our knowledgeable volunteers and get answers to your tech questions and queries. Book a time by calling 03 9880 4709. If groups are more your thing you can join us to learn about a set topic, presented by our guest speakers each week. For days have a look at our Community News Calendar

Trivia

Love a good brain game? We have just the group for you! Join Bruce, Caroline and Matthew our wonderful volunteers for an afternoon of trivia to keep the cogs turning every Monday from 1:30pm. Check out the Community News Calendar to see what else you can get involved in.

Talks

For the lovers of culture, history and all things intriguing we regularly have guest speakers who visit BASScare to shed wisdom and share knowledge on intriguing topics. Visit the National Gallery of Victoria from your armchair with Dr Lee Emery showing pieces from the Early Australian Art collection, hear about Old Melbourne Gaol and the mischief the prisoners living within the solid sandstone walls caused, learn about the McCrae Homestead and Museum and the early pioneering life of Andrew and Georgiana McCrae. We often learn about a place one week and visit it the next! To find out what special talks we have on this week visit our Community News Calendar
