Social Support Services
The Bass Care Social Support Service is run by BASS Care and funded by Department of Human Services to provide a range of services for older people and people with disabilities living in and around the City of Boroondara.
The service aims to enhance individuals' health and well-being, strengthen friendship networks and reduce isolation and loneliness.
Various activities are run 7 days a week and transport is provided each day enabling local residents to attend the centres. (Conochie Hall in Canterbury, the Marwal Centre in North Balwyn and the Kew Community Centre). The services on offer vary at each location.
In 2007 our Community Services programs achieved the highest possible outcome of 20 out of 20 against the Department of Human Services Accreditation Standards.

Meal Services
The BASS Care Meals on Wheels service covers a significant area of Canterbury, Surrey Hills, Camberwell and Balwyn, providing over 250 meals each day to the aged and people with disabilities.
